The talent and succession management system is designed to assist develop employees within their organisation. If an employee does not complete a section on the TMS, they will not gain the full advantage of this system because their developmental needs will be unclear. Management need as much information as possible when deciding on successors for certain positions, it is therefore vital that each section of the TMS is completed. This will provide employees with a greater chance of promotion as their information is complete and stored in a central location.
The sections of the TMS should be completed with as thoroughly as possible. This system can act as a resume for management within your organisation which they will base their decision of promotion from. If you do not complete the system with as much detail as possible, your manager can overlook you as a possible candidate for advancement throughout an organisation.
